Sunday, January 11th, 2009 Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. will close a plant in western Puerto Rico that makes heart disease and diabetes medicine, eliminating 400 jobs, reports AP (Nov. 8, 2007). The closure, due to reduced demand for the medication, will be completed at the end of 2008, said spokeswoman Carmen Velez.
