Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. has been given FDA approval of a new label for Sprycel. The new designation recommends a 100-mg starting dose for the product, which treats chronic myeloid leukemia. The company has also announced clearance of Abilify as the first medication for add-on treatment of major depressive disorder.
